Due to its high density, acacia hardwood charcoal is particularly suitable for use in professional barbecues. It is a sustainable and 100% natural alternative to conventional charcoal, as acacia wood is a rapidly renewable species. The long burning time of acacia hardwood charcoal of up to 4 hours and the high temperature of up to 800 °C make it ideal for professional barbecues in the catering industry or at larger parties. The medium to large charcoal pieces ensure even and stable combustion and thus an optimal barbecue result. The charcoal burns without smoke or sparks and leaves only little ash. The pleasant, mild grill aroma gives the grilled food a special note. Acacia hardwood charcoal is suitable for large open restaurant grills and also for closed restaurant grills such as Josper, Mibrasa and HAJAtec. It also offers a unique grilling experience in ceramic grills.
Our quebracho blanco charcoal is available in different grain and container sizes: from 5/10 kg paper bags and 10/15 kg PP bags to whole pallets or containers on request.
The acacia hardwood charcoal is produced exclusively from the so-called "invader-bushes", which are considered invasive in Namibia. Game trails and grazing areas are cleared of various smaller trees and shrubs, supported and controlled by the government, to prevent overgrowth. The use of these trees as raw material for the charcoal industry helps to contain the spread of this invasive species and thus protect the indigenous flora and fauna. Most of the production is done using the environmentally friendly retorting process, which guarantees low emissions and high quality charcoal. Thanks to the FSC certificate, you can be sure that the acacia hardwood charcoal from Namibia has been produced sustainably. In addition, charcoal production creates jobs and supports the local economy.
